Residents enjoyed a tour of Gamble Creek Farm, a certified organic and hydroponic farm in Parrish, FL, followed by an al fresco Farm-to-Table Dinner. To start, the residents were served salads prepared with organic Mizuna, Mixed Greens and Pomegranate, all harvested that day. The main course featured roast suckling Pig and Chicken, with Cabbage harvested to prepare Cole Slaw, and tender Collard Greens from the days harvest. Dessert was delicious – Seminole Pumpkins straight off the vine, roasted and served with Whipped Cream. After dinner, residents gathered around the bon fire and toasted Marshmallows and had S’mores. A great time was had by all!
