The two day Farm-to-Table event began with a resident trip to Phillippi Farmhouse Market, Sarasota’s only farmers market that requires its vendors to be growers. The residents selected fresh-caught fish, fruits, vegetables, herbs, artisan bread and more! The following evening, dining services presented a pool-side cooking demonstration using the ingredients selected at the farmers market. Nutritional information was provided by Town Center resident Phyllis Griffith, a registered dietician. We can’t wait to do it again!
