Greg’s first Watermark University Fishing Class was a big success! Our lakes are teeming with fish, and Capt. Bob and Donna Starnes caught 5 bass!
With a cast and crew of more than 40 residents, this annual performance featured singing, dancing, skits and lots of laughs along the way. Written and directed by Fountains resident Lyn Jacobson, Flim Flam IV showcased the many talented people living at The Fountains. This is the fourth year the residents put on the show!
Town Center residents had a wonderful evening at Turtle Beach with music and dancing, an unforgettable dinner, and a stunning sunset. Dining Services prepared a four-course meal which featured shrimp cocktail, beach-side caesar salad, grilled tri-trip steak served with grilled sweet potato and asparagus. Residents toasted marshmallows for s’mores for dessert!
Town Center residents enjoyed a program of patriotic music in honor of Veterans day by Second Wind, a seven-piece band, during Happy Hour.
The two day Farm-to-Table event began with a resident trip to Phillippi Farmhouse Market, Sarasota’s only farmers market that requires its vendors to be growers. The residents selected fresh-caught fish, fruits, vegetables, herbs, artisan bread and more!
