We jetted off to West Palm Beach for our first Extraordinary Outing of 2018! We left The Fountains on June 13th and returned on June 14th. We stayed at the luxurious Chesterfield West Palm Hotel, where glorious Palm Beach architecture was blended with timeless English values. This was an oasis of old-world charm, in each of the rooms and suites the unique statement of luxury and exclusive comfort was visible.
The locations we visited during our trip were as follows:
The Norton Museum with a collection of 7,000 pieces (with a concentration in European, American, and Chinese art as well as in contemporary art), The Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens where it was a rare gift to experience the union of the powerful art and the naturalness of the landscape (as you can see below with our residents) and completing the trip on Worth Avenue where there was upscale shopping.
We not only fed our souls on the vast amount of culture West Palm had to offer, but we fed our appetites as well! We toured the tastes of the Mediterranean at Leila, the bold Italian classics at Nick and Johnny’s Osteria and the upscale and contemporary flavors of New American dishes at Bricktop’s.
We are so excited to plan our next trip like this!
